TCI's electronic relay switch NFT 250 for metallic surfaces and maximum 250 W load enables switching on and off by softly touching the connected sensitive area. Sensitivity is automatically adjusted for small and wide areas.
The relay switch is used in different types of loads: fluorescent lamps supplied using electro-mechanical ballasts, max. 100 W (117 V max 80 W); Low-voltage halogen lamps supplied using electronic transformers, max. 250 W (117 V max 150 W); 12 V low-voltage halogen lamps using toroidal and/or electromechanical transformers, max. 100 W (117 V max 80 W); 230 V incandescent or halogen lamps, max. 250 W (117 V max 150 W).
The supply voltage is 230 - 240 V / 50 - 60 Hz. Thanks to its protection class II, the switch prevents electric shocks for direct or indirect contact. The housing is IP20 protected.
The TCI relay switch NFT 250 is equipped with a terminal cover and a cable retainer for cables with a diameter of 3 mm min. - 6 mm max. The input and output terminals are mounted on the same side (2.5 mm2 terminal area). The transformer comes complete with special slots for screwretention.
The touch point should be properly insulated and located far from walls, ceilings, floors and active surfaces. Additionally, it should not be connected to a grounded surface.
