DALI DT8 Tuneable White 2-channel LED ECG

The DALI Tuneable White 2-channel constant current LED driver LC35 / 2-DA-iC is suitable for installation in luminaires of protection class I and II. The driver itself has the protection class II. It has a nominal power of 35 watts and convinces with a wide dynamic color temperature range in all dimming levels. The SELV output protection ensures safety and flexibility in luminaire design.

The LED driver is DALI Type 8 compatible. There is one DALI address for controlling the color temperature via two output channels. The DALI color type is the color temperature Tc.

Human Centric Lighting for more well-being

The Tuneable White LED ECG enables a daylight-dependent control of light, also called circadian light control or Human Centric Lighting (HCL). The lighting senses the natural course of sunlight: ideal for halls and offices with little natural light or industrial buildings with several layers.

Human Centric Lighting (HCL) strengthens the ability of employees to concentrate, thus improving their work results: healthier employees and fewer accidents.

Output current adjustable

In addition, the Tuneable White LED driver has an adjustable constant current output: 350 mA (standard) to 700 mA. The output current can be programmed with the Helvar Driver Configurator, with DALI commands or with external resistors

Hybrid dimming technology ensures high-quality light. The color temperature is adjustable up to 2% minimum dimming level. The switch control functionality provides user-friendly control of intensity and color temperature.

The multi-purpose terminal Iset / NTC is used for current adjustment or as overtemperature protection. In addition, the Helvar DALI DT8 LED ECG has a full load recognition, open and short-circuit protection and a Constant Light Output (CLO) (default: disabled). It has a power monitoring (real time), running hours monitoring (accumulative) and energy management (accumulative).
