The DALI DT5 interface module DALI RM16 1-10V from Lunatone enables the control of electronic ballasts with PWM or 1-10V control input. It converts the DALI 8-bit direct arc power level into a corresponding PWM signal (0% -100%) or analogue signal (1-10V).
For additional switching on / off of the ECG power supply, a switching relay is integrated. The control of the relay contact is tied to the dimming value: If this is 0, the relay switches off, with every larger value the relay is switched on.
PWM output (interference-proof transmission)
The PWM output of the module offers the advantage of interference-proof analog signal transmission, suitable for controlling electronic ECGs with PWM control input (for example: Meanwell HLG, HLN, NPF or LPF series). In addition, the interface module is especially suitable for high inrush current peaks up to 160A and also for several loads (control current up to 2mA).
The Lunatone module is supplied directly via the DALI line, so that no additional supply is required. The DALI input and the PWM output are galvanically isolated. The interface has a DALI address and can be assigned to groups and scenes.
