The IP20-protected TRIDONIC emergency lighting unit EM 04 PRO G2 with DALI interface for testing and monitoring is suitable for T5 / T8 / TC compact and linear fluorescent lamps. It has a self-test function including checking the status of the battery and the lamp as well as the charging conditions and performing a function test and a durability test.

The emergency light ECG works in non maintained operation. One or three hours rated duration is selectable - the operating time can be selected with a plug (duration link).

The FL ECG is compatible with all electronic ballasts. The 5-pole technology allows 4-pole switching of the lamp and delayed power switching for the ballast. The lamp runs in high-frequency AC operation. The power control technology ensures maximum ballast lumen (EBLF) factors for all lamps.

Thanks to the preheated lamp start and the permanent cathode heating in emergency mode, the TRIDONIC EM 04 PRO G2 is very lamp-friendly. The 5.5 min. Boost start ensures a quick warm-up of the lamp, more light in the start-up phase and optimum lamp life.

The emergency lighting unit has an electronic multi-level charge system including a "rest mode" function, an automatic commissioning, a two-color LED status display and a deep discharge protection. After actication of the deep discharge protection, the battery has a very low energy consumption. The battery connection is short circuit proof. There is also a polarity reversal protection for the battery.

With a cross-section of 21 x 33 mm, the EM 04 PRO G2 has a practical low-profile housing.
