EX luminaire for hazardous areas
The EX luminaire ACQUEX LED by ZALUX was developed as standard lighting for use in hazardous areas where an explosive atmosphere persists for a short period. This is the case in EX zones according to ATEX Directive 2014/34 / EU: for example at oil and gas sites, in the pharmaceutical, food, agricultural or chemical industry as well as well as in industrial facilities.
The LED luminaire has a transparent diffuser made of polycarbonate (PC) with UV protection, manufactured by injection, in prismatic design for an optimum light distribution. Additionally, it has an ATEX cable gland M20 x 1.5, IP68 protected. The rated power is 21 watts ; the luminous flux is 2500 lumens. With its color temperature of 4000 K, the LED luminaire provides neutral white light. The efficiency is 119 lm/W.
The housing of the EX luminaire is made of fiberglass-reinforced polyester in RAL 7035 integrating two gear tray holders to allow suspension to carry out its connection to the mains. It also has a polyurethane gasket and is therefore IP66-protected. Stainless steel mounting brackets are included.
Low power consumption, easy installation
The long life of the LEDs reduces maintenance costs. The LED technology ensures low power consumption at a higher efficiency and intelligent light management through a high frequency sensor. Thanks to the plug-and-play system, installation is quick and easy.
The ZALUX EX luminaire ACQUEX LED is extremely safe and has a robust design with vibration-free components directly reusable without starting time at low ambient temperatures down to -25 ° C. ZALUX offers a 5 year warranty on the LED luminaire.
